Knowing the complexity of the inside of your breasts can also help you to comprehend the many different locations and characteristics of potential breast problems; for instance, breast cysts, infections or cancers can occur at any of the sites shown, and their location will help determine the best way to treat them. As you become more familiar with your breasts, you'll discover that they are not static; they change in size and character throughout your monthly hormonal cycle. Before menstruation, breasts often swell, become more tender to the touch, and can develop lumps that aren't present at other times of the month. Above all else, learn to appreciate your body for its uniqueness—struggle against the stereotypes foisted on us by swimsuit. ads and bra commercials. As there is beauty in every kind of face, regardless of color or shape or size, so there is beauty in every shape of body, heavy or lean, short or tall, big or small. And as every nose or pair of eyes is different from another, so your sexual organs are very much your own, and to be celebrated, not shamed, for their individuality. *101/162/1*
