USE THE RIGHT KIND OF LUBRICANT WITH CONDOMS - CONS
Some men feel lessened sexual sensation with condoms, and even refuse to use them as a result. Ask yourself if you want to have sex with someone who won't make this small sacrifice for you. (Interestingly, this reduction in sensation can have a benefit for men who suffer from premature ejaculation. Sometimes condoms slow the process down for them.) Condoms can interrupt the flow of sex, since they have to be put on before sexual contact. (Some experts recommend including condom placement as part of the sex act, to reduce this problem.) A small number of men (and women) are sensitive to latex condoms; others may be sensitive to the spermicides on the condoms. Some suggest that people who are allergic to latex use a lambskin condom with a latex condom on top of it (if the man is allergic), or the other way around if the woman is allergic. This provides protection without irritation.
Never use oil-based lubricants with latex condoms; butter, mineral oil, petroleum jelly, baby oil, vegetable oil and so on will erode latex quickly. It's a good idea to use a lubricant with condoms to reduce the chance of breakage, especially for women whose vaginas don't lubricate a great deal (postmenopausal women experiencing vaginal dryness, for example).
